Experience

“The life of the law has not been logic,” wrote Oliver Wendell Holmes; “it has been experience.” And experience is the heart of how you’ll learn and grow in this seminar. Whether it be exploring the root cellar Japanese Americans built to store their harvested crops, absorbing award-winning museum exhibits, wandering among the surviving structures of the camp’s hospital, hearing a shakuhachi flute recital, or taking in an award-winning documentary, you’ll be deepening your understanding of history and yourself with all your senses.
